WHY?

If the Thanksgiving super spreader events are any indication, this holiday season could infect so many people, that our healthcare system could collapse, government functions could grind to a halt, fire and police would lack the man-power to respond, and our military could be forced to deal with this as a serious threat to national security.

The vaccines we are relying on may not take effect widely until the summer. We could see hundreds of thousands more die terrible and lonely deaths and hundreds of $billions lost before then.

But you and I and our families, friends and neighbors have to power to stop all of this from happening.

Will It Work?

Hopefully.  The City of Chicago held a Winter Design Challenge to help restaurants adjust to Covid.  They got 600 entries from over 13 countries.

“Giving people more information and changing the wording of the messages is always useful, but in my opinion, ineffective in the current situation.  Emotions are not easily changed, especially when the major leaders of many organizations.”

Yet Chicago’s Winter Design Challenge received more than 600 entries to extend outdoor dining in Chicago: https://www.chicagotribune.com/coronavirus/ct-coronavirus-winter-design-challenge-20200915-hnsxal25wbawnjtevzys2ssqkq-story.html

The US Department of Health and Human Services held a design contest that engaged over 700 participants. Here are some of the other contests held throughout the Government:
